Born in Manly, Murray spent most of his youth outdoors spending many hours on the Northern Beaches of Sydney either surfing or as a volunteer lifesaver, then a professional lifeguard before making the move into the photography industry.
Starting his career as a commercial photographer 33 years ago Murray knows that being a professional photographer is not about just ‘taking a nice pic’ - it’s about identifying what you need to use the photos for and shooting for purpose.
