Ricardo is a Portuguese award-winning freelance photographer based in Lisbon. For his work on photojournalism and documentary photography, he has won several international prizes such as the LensCulture Portrait Awards 2019, Andrei Stenin International 2019, Estação Imagem Portrait Award 2018 and Estação Imagem Documentary Grant 2020, as well as two solo exhibitions of his work. He is frequently published in national newspapers like Público and Expresso, as well as international ones, like The Guardian.

Ricardo is a photographer with vast experience in covering corporate events, portraiture and editorial photography. His interests lie in the world of the arts, literature, environment and technology. Besides Portuguese, he fluently speaks English and Spanish. Ricardo is a creative thinker while highly organized, with a proven track record of delivering high- quality projects on time, even in challenging environments.
