About Raccoon
Our vision is for Raccoon to be the go-to agency for affordable yet impeccable event photography and videography led by a team of professional and extremely talented event photographers, videographers, editors and assistants who have an attitude of strong work ethic, friendliness and enthusiasm.
Whilst originally and primarily an event photography agency, we are expanding into other photography genres and building our videography and production team, as well as other event add ons such as photo booths and instant photography. Our team of freelancers is constantly expanding to include stylists, lighting, editors and partnerships with other agencies with whom we collaborate.
Whilst based in London we have representation in 30 countries with a team of 70 international freelancers in addition to the UK team and are constantly growing.
Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and personable Junior Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of agency experience, preferably with a background in photography, videography or event production. You will play a crucial role in managing client relationships, overseeing projects, and contributing to the growth of our client base. This position also requires strong social media and content management skills to keep our online presence active and up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Management: Oversee the inbox, manage new and ongoing projects, and ensure timely responses.
Client & Supplier Communications: Liaise with clients, photographers, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
Quotes & Proposals: Write detailed quotes and proposals for various projects.
Relationship Development: Source and establish new relationships with suppliers and photographers both in the UK and worldwide.
Pre-Production: Coordinate the pre-production of shoots, ensuring the team is prepared with clear briefs.
Client Relations: Generate new bookings from existing clients through relationship building and upselling.
CRM Utilization: Use HubSpot (post-training) to manage leads and expand the client base.
Client Retention: Maximize retention through exceptional client care and communication.
Invoice Management: Follow up on outstanding invoices and oversee documentation from booking to evaluation.
Team Management: Manage all aspects of photographers/videographers, including job advertising, team selection, briefing, and delivery.
Content Production & Management: Utilize content created by photographers and videographers for our website and social media channels. Ensure regular updates, manage social media posts and calendars, and keep the website (Squarespace) current with fresh content.
Freelancers: Onboard new freelancers and set up profile pages on our website.
Industry Awareness: Stay informed about industry changes and proactively share updates with the team.
Qualifications
3-5 years of agency experience
Experience in photography/video/event production preferred
Strong social media management and content creation skills
Proficiency in content management and website (Squarespace) upkeep
Excellent communication skills, both on the phone and in writing
Proactive attitude with a keen attention to detail
Interest in the photography and event industry and eagerness to grow and learn
Creative background and skillset

Hours: Full-time, regular working hours
Salary: Dependent on experience
