Cami is a passionate photographer, traveler, and entrepreneur who has turned her lifelong love of capturing moments into a thriving career. Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Cami spent her early years on the idyllic island of Ilhabela, fostering a deep appreciation for nature. At 15, she moved to Toronto, Canada, where she overcame cultural challenges and excelled academically, earning a scholarship to study Communication Studies and Professional Writing at York University. Cami’s fascination with photography began in childhood and deepened when she developed her first photo in a high school darkroom. Though she initially thought of pursuing a traditional academic path, in 2011 she committed fully to her passion by founding her boutique photography business Bellatrix Photography in Toronto. Her adventurous spirit has led her to live in eight countries and backpack through over 30. Notable experiences include participating in an educational reality TV show in the Amazon Rainforest and completing the 1000-kilometer Camino de Santiago pilgrimage to celebrate her 30th birthday. Cami’s journey is defined by her determination to live authentically, pursue creativity, and capture the beauty of people and places through her lens. Nowadays, Cami focuses on lifestyle, editorial and wedding photography and divides her time between Brazil and Canada.
