Sarah Mullally: Bishop of London
When Sarah Mullally was announced as the first ever female Bishop of London in late 2017 there was naturally a lot of media interest. Raccoon London Photographer Max was hired by the Diocese of London to shadow her on the day of her announcement to make candid photos on this historic day that they could use for social media and press releases.
It was a busy day for her as she took a press conference, visited a food bank in Hoxton, a school, and was interviewed by ITV and the BBC. It was a fascinating day full of energy and optimism, which I think comes through in a lot of the photographs.
